1. Introduction
Welcome to https://perthremovalsplus.com (“the Site”), operated by Perth Removals Plus (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Customer Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of our online platform, removal services, and any ancillary products we offer. By using our Site or services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. Please read it together with our Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of this Agreement, the following terms have the meanings set out below:
- “Goods” – All items, furniture, and personal effects which are the subject of the removal services.
- “Customer” – The individual or entity engaging our services.
- “Mover” – A service provider listed on our platform who carries out removal services.
- “Platform” – Our web-based system accessible via the Site for booking and managing removals.
- “Force Majeure Event” – An event beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, industrial disputes, cyber incidents, or any other event that prevents or delays performance.
- “Ancillary Services” – Additional services such as vehicle transportation, storage, or specialised handling, if agreed in writing.
- “Removal Contract” – The binding agreement between you and the chosen Mover for the removal services.
- “Business Day” – A day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays in the relevant region) when business is normally conducted.
- “Consequential Loss” – Any indirect losses including loss of profit, opportunity costs, or damage to reputation.

3. Scope of Our Services
Our Services include:
- Online Platform Access: Providing a web-based platform to request, schedule, and manage removal services.
- Removal Services: Coordinating the removal, transport, and, where applicable, storage of your Goods.
- Move Assistance: Offering support, advice, and consultation during your move.
- Ancillary Services: Providing additional options (e.g., transportation of vehicles or specialized items) as mutually agreed.
The details of each service, including any supplementary guarantees or warranties, will be provided at the time of booking.
4. Our Online Platform & Booking Process
Access and Use
- Booking: You may access the Platform to enter your contact and move details. Our system will match your requirements with available Movers, showing move dates, price estimates, and service terms.
- Confirmation: By confirming a booking and making the necessary payment, you are deemed to have offered to engage the Mover under the terms of a Removal Contract. The Mover’s confirmation finalizes the booking.
- Selection: You may choose a Mover directly or opt for our automated matching service. In either case, the booking details provided by the Platform are deemed accurate once confirmed.
5. Our Obligations
- Reasonable Care: We will exercise reasonable care and skill to safeguard your Goods during transit and follow any specific handling instructions you provide.
- Independent Facilitation: We act solely as an intermediary. While we facilitate bookings and process payments, the direct removal services are provided by independent Movers.
- Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays, non-performance, or loss arising from any Force Majeure Event. In such cases, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event.
- Use of Subcontractors: We may engage subcontractors to perform part or all of the services; however, we remain responsible for ensuring the agreed services are rendered.
6. Customer Obligations and Warranties
As a Customer, you agree to:
- Provide Accurate Information: Ensure all details provided to us are accurate and up to date.
- Authorized Representative: Confirm that you are either the owner of the Goods or are duly authorized to arrange for their removal.
- Presence During Handling: Arrange for yourself or an authorized agent to be present during the loading and unloading of Goods.
- Disclosure of Special Items: Inform us in writing of any fragile, valuable, or hazardous items (e.g., items exceeding a specified value or dangerous goods) prior to booking.
- Packing and Preparation: Ensure that Goods are properly packed and, where required, dismantled before collection. Note that we do not undertake disassembly or reassembly unless expressly agreed.
7. Fees, Payments, and Variations
Quoted Price and Move Fee
- Estimation: A Quoted Price is provided based on the move details you supply.
- Service Fee: A service charge is added for access to our platform and customer support.
- Variations: If actual move requirements differ from the initial details (e.g., due to additional volume or unforeseen access difficulties), a Variation to the Quoted Price may be applied. Any changes will require your approval.
Payment Schedule
- Standard Booking: A deposit is required at confirmation, with the balance due five days before the Move Date.
- Short Notice Booking: The full amount is processed at booking confirmation.
- Third-Party Payments: Should a third party be responsible for payment, you remain liable if payments are delayed or not received.
All charges are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise, and any additional fees (such as transaction fees by payment providers) will be clearly displayed.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
- Customer Cancellation: You may cancel your booking prior to the collection of your Goods. Cancellation terms (including any applicable refund conditions) will be outlined in your Removal Contract.
- Mover Cancellation: If the selected Mover cancels or fails to perform, we will assist you in securing a refund or arranging an alternative service.
- Notice Requirements: For cancellations, written notice is required. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in retention of deposits or additional charges.
9. Liability, Insurance, and Claims
Limitations of Liability
- Our Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability (and that of our subcontractors) is limited to the total fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months or AUD $100 (whichever is greater). We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
- Negligence: We will be liable for loss or damage only where caused by our negligence. If you or any third party contribute to loss or damage, our liability may be reduced accordingly.
- Exclusions: We are not liable for damage caused by improper packing, disassembly performed by you, or inherent risks associated with moving certain items (e.g., flat pack furniture).
Insurance
- Optional Cover: We may offer to arrange insurance for your Goods during transit and storage. This is optional and subject to separate terms. You may also choose to secure insurance independently.
- Claims Process: Any claim for loss or damage must be notified to us in writing (or via telephone followed by written confirmation) within 2 Business Days of delivery. Failure to timely notify may limit our ability to investigate and resolve your claim.
10. Storage Services
If you opt for storage services:
- Inventory: We will prepare an inventory of Goods stored. Once confirmed (or unchallenged within 7 days), the inventory shall be conclusive evidence of items in storage.
- Storage Charges: Storage fees will be as quoted for an initial fixed period. Beyond that, changes may be implemented with 28 days’ notice.
- Access and Removal: You may request removal of stored Goods by providing at least 5 Business Days’ notice. Short notice requests may incur additional charges.
- Warehouse Transfers: We reserve the right to relocate Goods between approved warehouses (within a reasonable distance) with prior notice.
11. Dispute Resolution
- Notification: In the event of a dispute, the affected party must provide written notice to the other.
- Resolution Process: Should a dispute remain unresolved, you may refer the matter to an industry-recognized body such as the Australian Removals Association for mediation. Please note that while we will consider the outcome, our internal dispute resolution process will apply.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Platform and services immediately if you breach these Terms. Termination does not affect any Removal Contract already in place. Clauses intended to survive termination shall remain binding.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Western Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Western Australia regarding any disputes arising from these Terms.

15. General Provisions and Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: This Agreement, together with our Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy, constitutes the entire understanding between you and Perth Removals Plus.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
- Waiver: A failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Amendments: We may amend these Terms by posting updated versions on our Site. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any amendments.
- Headings: Headings are provided for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
Glossary of Key Terms
- Agreement: This document, including any amendments and supplementary documents referenced herein.
- Removal Contract: The contract between you and the selected Mover for the delivery of removal services.
- Force Majeure Event: An event beyond our control that prevents or delays performance.
- Goods: Your personal property, furniture, and other effects subject to removal.
- Ancillary Services: Additional services offered upon request, such as storage or vehicle transportation.
